Where People Full Of Shit Lives

Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street

GLOOMY, SICK, HILARIOUS, BLOODY …. and of course, FUN!

I’ve said this and I’ll say this again. Johhny Depp shows are always a good watch, be it Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory or even Pirates of The Carribean.

Undertaking peculiar characters is what he does best. Period.

The story is simple. Don’t worry, no spoilers here.

Benjamin Barker returns to England after 15 years of being exiled by the evil Judge Turpin adopts the name Sweeney Todd and seeks revenge on the evil judge for stealing his wife and daughter. As the name of the movie suggests, Sweeney Todd goes back to his barber job and waits ‘patiently’ for Judge Turpin to turn up for the slaughter but after a failed attempt to kill him, he starts killing every customer that enters his place for a shave in a fit of rage. This fueled Mrs. Lovett’s business in meat pie production (guess why here). So the massacre goes on until Judge Turpin turns up again due to an incident. Charmed by Mr. Todd’s hospitality, Judge Turpin finally got caught up in Mr. Todd’s web of mischief and well ….. no further explanation needed. Watch out for the ending though, it’s very ironic.

A word of warning – this show is not for the faint hearted. Expect a lot of slaughter, blood and people being burned alive.

Probably one of the sickest shows I’ve watched.

Parting Ways

January 20, 2008

Barely past the first month of 2008 and I’m already foreseeing it as a lonely year.

Yesterday I was told by TJ he’s going to Singapore to work somewhere in April. Of course that doesn’t sound bad but in May, Michelle will be off for Australia for her diploma, for a year.

That makes 2 close friends

Sigh, so depressing :(

Dining Etiquette

January 13, 2008

The Korean lunch was mediocre. Throw sushi at me anytime really. I feel that many Korean dishes are repetitive.

The company was interesting yet good however :) There’s nothing more amusing having a bunch of really open minded girls sitting around you asking such ‘naive’ questions, sexual questions that is.

One of the most eager questions asked was how to orally please the male phallus. I’m sure these girls are good in bed with their respective boyfriends, but perhaps they just wanted to improve by taking advice from a gay man. Besides, no one else knows how to orally tease the penis than guys themselves. From where’s the most sensitive part of the dick to how deep should I blow him, the girls weren’t so naive after all.

…. and in case if you’re asking yourself “Hey, where IS THE MOST SENSITIVE PART?”, it’s the area an inch below the head. Of course, the head is sensitive as well, but its a different sensation compared to the shaft.

Of course, I had my own fun listening to these girls share their own stories about their boyfriend in bed. Interesting words were ‘thick’ and ’stumpy’. Of course, few Asians would actually measure up to such an amazing length. Something got me a little embarrassed and annoyed – the girls were curious to know my size. No, I didn’t reveal anything, but one thing I left them hanging with was this …. I said “Of all the guys I’ve had sexual relationships with, be it a one night stand or an ex, none of them were greater than my extent”

Hehe .. yes, basking in self glorification here, but that’s the honest truth – which sparked even more curiosity from the girls.

Another very interesting and hilarious story would be about a vibrator this girl received as a birthday gift. It boasts of great length with many functions, speeds, whatever – you name it. Since then, a certain part of that girl’s body has not been given much rest, so I’ve heard.

Gosh, girls are as horny as guys but they are more discreet about it!

Anyways, it was fun hanging out and talking about sex during the entire meal. We did have to lower our voices when referring to certain words just in case we offend the other patrons. Oh yes, the waiters did look at us funny when we burst out laughing and hushing during our conversations :D

Random #01

January 13, 2008

Have you ever felt so connected to a song, you shed a tear listening to it?

Sometimes, music can be the only thing that keeps me going especially during my anti-social moments.

It feels so good sitting on the LRT alone (at times), away from people you know, listening to tunes you love.

It feels as if you’re disconnected from the world but in touch with your surroundings at the very same moment … bliss

Perhaps that’s the closest thing to heaven I can get

Bling My Belly

January 7, 2008

I was at The Curve yesterday with intentions of looking for a nice multiple wrap leather bracelet at the bazaar when it decided to rain ala cats & dogs. So much for fulfillment.

….. that’s when I bought myself this

Belly Stud

I’m ecstatic! The only thing is, I can’t wear it just yet because my piercing is not fully healed I assume. It’s only been about 20 odd days. I must say though, it has healed pretty well so far. No more discomfort and the redness has subsided. I can easily pop it up and down, turn it all around :D

I won’t take the risk to change it just yet … giving it until next month or so.

I do hope the new stud lasts as it’s a cheaper one made from stainless steel. One thing I noticed is that the bar is slightly thinner than the current one I’m wearing. Will my hole adapt to the thinner bar and I won’t be able to use the thicker bar again?

It’s just a VERY slight difference in thickness though.

Yeah, my mom still thinks I’m crazy for piercing my navel .. but who cares, I’m happy :)

Pastuna

January 7, 2008

I had to fend for my own dinner on Saturday night since my parents had to attend a wedding dinner ( I wasn’t invited :( ). So much for the thought of buying food from outside stalls when I decided I was too lazy to step out of the comforts of my home. After a quick dig in the cupboard, I made myself something simple yet delicious :)

Ingredients

Pasta – any type u wish
Mayonaise
Mustard Sauce
1 small Red Onion
Carrot
Tomato
1 can of Tuna

Boil the pasta first in plenty of salted water with a few drops of oil until al dente (fully cooked but not overly soft). Drain, place into a bowl and chill in the fridge once the pasta has stopped steaming.

Pasta

Grate the carrot, dice the onion and cube the tomato – portions are totally up to you. You can also add shredded lettuce .. etc. It’s quite a personalized dish, depending on your creativity and palate. Open the can of tuna chunks and drain the oil/water.

Color

Once everything is ready, place the fish and the chopped ingredients into the bowl of cold pasta. Add one and a half tablespoons of mayonaise and about a teaspoon of mustard sauce. The sauces varies with the portion of pasta obviously, so again, its up to you. Just don’t add too much mayonaise or else it will overshadow the taste of the other ingredients. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Pasta & Tuna

Mix everything up evenly, making sure the tuna chunks/ flakes are well separated. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes or so before eating :)

NYE Party … or not

January 2, 2008

Ok, so this is the moment many of you are waiting for … what happened at the party, but before I get into the juicy details, here’s a few words to sum it up:

Crazy, Embarrassing, Slutty and of course Fun!

I arrived rather early at the hotel due to all the predicted jams, road closures and whatnot. Surprisingly, the roads were really empty that evening – much clearer than on a weekday as a matter of fact. We just hoped that everyone hasn’t moved out of KL for their New Years Celebration or else we’d be partying with the Mat Rempits.

The room was rather disappointing, it was small and it had too many passageways leading here and there. Think maze. The bed could only fit a maximum of 4, so the rest would have to be creative and make up sleeping places (I heard one of the guys made the toilet floor his bed and I think it’s valid enough knowing he’s a funny person). There was one couch that was taken up by me, you’ll have to read on to know more about this :P and well, the hall floors were nicely carpeted and makes a good sleeping area :)

So since a friend and I was the earliest to arrive, we headed over to KLCC for dinner. Boy was it packed and as usual, when we hang out, deciding on a place to eat is always a chore, so we ended up at the food court which wasn’t too bad. Picked on my friend’s Edamame beans and since it was my first time eating it, I commented that it tasted like mushrooms, he begged to differ and we had a small debate over it. How funny. We had to pop by Cold Storage for some paper cups and ice since it’s not a good idea bringing glass cups from home to a party cause of the washing up the next morning and risk of having them break.

When all that was done, the party began shortly. More and more people started coming in, in episodes of half an hour or so and by 10, the room was jammed packed with music blasting like it’s a club itself. The drinks were pouring and there was merry making. I was rather bouncy that night (we all know why), in fact, everybody was already psyched about heading to the club.

Now here’s the fun part. I usually know when its time to stop drinking because as a trained drinker, you can tell when the alcohol is just about right, but it was the last concoction a friend of mine made that really knocked me out. It was so ironic that I got into the bathroom, tidied myself up and donned a sluttier outfit and was ready to leave for the countdown party but I didn’t make it past the hotel room! The last thing I remembered after changing was taking lots of pictures with my buds and having a final drink. I was still holding up well at that point and I knew how much I had to drink earlier, but after that gulp of my friend’s vile concoction, everything went downhill onwards. I remembered going to the couch to sit down ……. then I passed out.

This was at 11pm

All and I meant ALL my friends left for the club and there I was slumped on the couch, totally out.

There was a friend who didn’t want to club that night, and he had to bear with my mess. Apparently, I puked all over myself and on the floor beside the couch. I remembered puking on myself a bit, but I was too wasted to clean myself. I was like a helpless baby drooling away except, it was my own vomit. Poor friend, like its not bad enough that he had to clean after me, it’s worse when I just got to know him that night. Embarrassing.

I was totally out until the morning. In fact, I was such a gonner, I didn’t even hear the fireworks at KLCC which was just NEXT to the hotel! I didn’t wake up until 6 something and I wasn’t even aware my friends came back from their clubbing sexcapades. After getting up (it was still dark and everyone was sleeping), I went to the bathroom to change. Thank God I was slightly aware of the mess I made and the only way to save myself from further embarrassment was to go change into something NOT covered in puke! That accomplished, I went back to sleep.

The next morning, I was almost the last to wake up. There were already some guys chatting in the hall next to me and I wasn’t fully asleep, so I eavesdropped when I heard my name. All I heard was ” Omg, he was so out last night”, ” ….. projectile vomitting”, “Omg, he’s been sleeping for more than 10 hours”, ” Is he even breathing!?”. OMG, hahaha … I pretended I was asleep and I really wanted to laugh when they were talking about me. When I woke up, I pretended not to know what happened and I asked the guys “Ugh .. what happened last night?” … they burst out laughing. There were also tons of SMS on my phone from my friends who went out clubbing “Where are you?”, “Where’s everybody” …. they thought I was coming later, not.

I moved from the couch and entered the room where one of my cute friends and the one whom I’m most fond of was sleeping. I poked him a bit to wake him up but he pulled me in and slid himself into my arms. We cuddled for a couple of minutes before we had to pack. It felt so good when he took my other hand and held to his chest and slept. It’s weird that this happens everytime we end up sleeping on the same bed on any parties, after that, we’re just plain acquaintances. Oh, I did manage to sneak a kiss on his head when we cuddled .. so sweet :)

I was still woozy after we checked out and I had to follow them to DOME for brunch where I paid RM4 for a bottle of water but forgot to take that bottle back. Heck, I didn’t even open that bottle since water is always served. God forbid I eat anything since my stomach will definitely not tolerate it. So there I was in DOME stoning away in front of my friends. Yes, they were amused to see me in such a state.

It was back home after brunch but I had to rest at a friends place for a while considering I’m still not in a good state to drive. Managed to puke my guts out for the last time at his place and then I headed home.

This is truly an experience for me I must say. Everyone has been complaining that it’s always the same type of party for New Years and we should do something different.

I certainly had mine the other way round although it wasn’t very decent of me :)

Ah heck, so how was YOUR 2008?
