If you can recover relatively quickly, go for it. If you believe you will be heartbroken for the rest of your life, go for it again. It's always better to be sorry for something you did than for something that never happened. If you don't try, you won't even know what might have, could have happened...it could work out somehow, after all. If you try and it works out - great. If it doesn't, you've tried at least :o) Moreover, that's 5 months! It's like all the time in the universe...if you make good use of it...nothing else would be as rewarding.
